Study trip to the International Slavery Museum
UNISON Manchester University Healthcare Branch is organising a study trip to the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool to celebrate Black History. The Museum highlights the international importance of slavery, both in a historic and contemporary context. The museum provides opportunities for greater awareness and understanding of the legacy of slavery today.
The date of the trip is Friday 3rd November 2023
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis so if you wish to join us, you will need to let us know as soon as possible. Transport to Liverpool from central Manchester will be provided and a light lunch included. Entry to the museum is free but we will ask for a £5.00 contribution towards costs and a donation to the museum.
If you wish to secure a place, please email your Branch Black Member’s Officer, June Burnett
