In 2023, members of UNISON and other health unions won a deal worth at least an additional £2,720 for every member of the NHS team following industrial action.

The pay award imposed the previous year was just £1400. This was a significant step forward, made possible by trade union members standing together and showing the Government they would not tolerate an unreasonable pay settlement.
