NHS Pay Announcement

The Government has announced a £1,400 pay award for NHS staff. This outcome falls well short of inflation and with average energy bills alone rising £1,800 since your last pay award this increase is simply not enough and is in real terms a pay cut.

Full details of the pay award, what it might mean for you and our next steps are outlined in our latest newsletter. You should also be aware of the changes to your  NHS Pension Contributions from October 2022 meaning for most members, you will be even further out of pocket.

We need you to do a few things now:

Personal details
It is vital that your membership details are up to date. If your employer or workplace information is out of date, or if your contact details have changed you might miss important ballot information. If you need to update your membership details you can update them online at my.unison.org.uk OR you can contact your Branch on 0161 291 5212 or 0161 701 0056 and we can update your details for you

Keep an eye out!
