Anti Racism Demo – the day in pictures

The 19th March 2022 saw a UN Anti Racism rally and demonstration in London. Thousands of people included a delegation of reps and members from this Branch went along to show solidarity against the spread of the far-right movement globally. 

At the rally the TUC General Secretary Frances O’Grady said:

“The far-right are a growing menace in Britain today.

“Bolstered by a global network they are taking their hate-filled messages on to our streets and into our communities.

“As trade unionists we’ll continue to stand up to the forces of hatred and division, and to promote our values of tolerance and diversity”
