SAVE THE DATE – 1st July 2022 Drop-in Session

On Friday 1st July, your branch caseworkers, Charlotte and Louise, will be in the ERC, Seminar room 5 from 9.30-11.30am.

We will be having a drop-in session for members who wish to come and have a chat about collective workplace issues with the aim of raising these issues with management and HR in the next JCC (Joint Consultative Committee) meeting.

Topics to discuss could be anything from issues with equipment to an update on the annual leave grievance, but one thing we really want to look at is negotiating on the absence management policy and to do that we need your views on it.

9.30am and 10.30am are apparently the times that will cause less impact, so:

• Speak with your manager to let them know you’ll be popping down for 20mins
• Speak with your colleagues to spread the word
• If lots of people want to come down, nominate a couple of colleagues to come and speak on behalf of you instead, or, just take it in turns to come down – whatever causes less impact on service

We are looking forward to seeing you and this will now become a regular event so that you have your voices heard in the workplace.
